Volleyball
There has been no shortage of volleyball for our Greenies! We’ve had some great competition this past week. Tuesday, September 26th, JV White, JV Green, and Varsity traveled to Chalmette to battle Chalmette High School and all 3 teams won their matches in minimum sets. Way to go girls!!!
On Thursday, September 28th, JV White, JV Green, and Varsity played Ben Franklin High School at Newman in the Palaestra. JV Green and JV White both ended with Victories! Nice job! Varsity came up short, losing their match in 4 sets. It was a tough loss for our Varsity girls.
Moving forward and not looking back, this week our Greenies will have their first District games at Newman in the Palaestra. The first match is against John Curtis Christian School on Tuesday, October 3rd, with JV White beginning at 4:30, JV Green at 5:30, and Varsity to follow. Then, Thursday, October 5th, their second match against International School of Louisiana with JV White beginning at 4:30, JV Green at 5:30, and Varsity to follow.
Come one, come all! Wear your GREEN and pack the Palaestra!!
